P & F Association

​​​Parents and Friends Association (P&F)

The purpose of the P&F is to:

  1. support the learning community within a caring Catholic environment by promoting fellowship, friendship and community amongst parents and friends.
  2. plan and host fundraising activities to raise funds for initiatives not usually funded by the school budget.

Terms of Reference
The P&F will:

  • support the Principal and staff in the continued development of a caring Catholic school community
  • assist the school by providing feedback on school policies and activities acknowledging that the Principal is responsible for the daily running of the school
  • conduct  P&F meetings, community activities in a respectful and courteous manner views of others
  • maintain a record of P&F meetings and conduct activities in accordance with the Constitution of the P&F Associations of Catholic Schools in Queensland
  • use appropriate conduct when participating in meeting discussions and promote positive personal relationships among the school community
  • treat all Members of the School community with respect and courtesy

Regular activities hosted by the P&F include:

  • Meal Deals – (tuckshop) once a month
  • Uniform Shop - second hand shop at school and new stock via The School Locker


  • Mother's and Father's Day events and stalls
  • Fundraising events including Goldicott – the annual major fundraiser
  • Social activities for new and current families including a welcome morning tea for prep parents and the annual welcome barbeque at the start of each school year

Meetings​ are held at least once per term and the Annual General Meeting is held in Term 4.  At the AGM in Term 4 annual reports from the committee are provided and all positions on the committee are declared vacant and the election of representatives for the following year is conducted.
