There was much excitement for our Junior and Senior Concert bands last week as they competed at the Queensland Colleges Music Festival (QCMF). It was a wonderful opportunity to perform in front of judges, peers, family and friends. QCMF is a huge event with catholic schools from all over Queenland competing. Mrs Whitehead does a fantastic job in leading our instrumental music program and our concert bands are certainly a show piece. Our Beginner Band won the Gold Award in their division and our Senior Band won Silver. Congratulations everyone on a fantastic performance!
Congratulations also goes to Lola for being awarded an Excellence Award for Trumpet. We are St Iggies proud!
