Strategic Renewal Framework 2018-2020

Goal 1

St Ignatius School will implement policies, practices and programs to nurture and promote the Religious Life of the School which explicitly articulate the nature and purpose of Catholic Schooling and the Mercy and Jesuit Charisms. The school community will further develop its shared understanding and practical response to Catholic Social Teaching. Strengthen capacity to lead, engage and teach with a re-contextualist Catholic world-view within each school and office community.


​Goal 2

St Ignatius School will offer quality teaching and learning that draws on pedagogical practice that is data informed and evidence based, and aligned with the Australian Curriculum and BCE Learning Framework. The contemporary learning environment will be responsive to the changing structures of schooling and diverse populations, and have well developed capabilities to utilise information, communication and learning technologies.​


Goal 3 

St Ignatius School will continue the good professional practice of consultation and collaboration with parents, Parish and wider community to ensure a safe, healthy and productive school environment.  The St Ignatius strategic master plan will continue to ensure quality stewardship, professional learning needs of staff, fair and equitable support of the financial needs of families, teaching and school operations, sustainable environmental practices and contemporary learning approaches.
