Physical Education

Students at St Ignatius School have specialist Health and Physical Education classes each week with a qualified Health and Physical Education teacher. They have access to a wide range of sport and fitness activities, both as part of the physical education curriculum and through extracurricular activities.

Swimming Program

We offer an exceptional swimming program for all students from Prep to Year 6! Our program is designed to cater to every skill level, ensuring that each child gains confidence and proficiency in the water. With experienced instructors and a supportive environment, students will not only learn essential swimming techniques but also enjoy the numerous health benefits that come with regular swimming.

Croc Club

Prep and Year 1 participate in a Perceptual Motor Program called Croc Club.  Croc Club is highly beneficial for our Year 1 and 2 students as it enhances their gross motor skills, balance, and hand-eye coordination, which are crucial for their physical development and overall fitness. Additionally, it boosts their self-confidence and understanding of spatial concepts, laying a strong foundation for future learning and physical activities
